As children grow into adults, the tendency to experience wonder disappears for most of them. Given that many children attend school for almost fourteen years, it is hard to argue against the influence of school culture on the way they learn to think, feel, and perceive things. And while schools currently succeed in motivating most students to study, they are much less able to instigate in them a drive to make sense of the world. Consequently, it becomes critical to ask, what is school’s current relationship with wonder?
