Imagination vs Pandemics

In a futuristic scenario health authorities will have round the clock large arrays of nano sensors in public places detecting viruses and bacteria. Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Quantum computing will sift through huge stacks of Data, compare genomes, track mutations, and provide humanity with an early warning reliable system that can prevent major epidemics.
The high economic cost, that the world had to suffer during the last corona pandemic, will justify large investments in emerging public health technologies that will lead to the integration of all kinds of sensors in wearables, airports, public buildings, streets, markets, cars.. etc.
Algorithms will be able to detect new viruses and bacteria and keep an eye on any mutations. Quantum computers will allow humanity to perform probabilistic mutation scenarios, and keep a vigilant eye on the ever changing Gene World.
To spur innovation humanity will need to create new models of education that will encourage young minds to imagine future problems and find out of the box solutions to overcome it.What humanity needs now more than ever is Imagination.
